Fresh from a recent spat of shows in Asia as well as a raucous, unexpected headline show at London's MOTH Club a few weeks ago, Yuck guitarist-turned-vocalist Max Bloom has shared a reflective solo effort in 'Bottle'. Opening with his characteristically gritty guitar sound, a swooning lead line, doused in tremolo glides over the chord sequence before Bloom's contemplative vocals kick in. Reflecting on a difficult breakup after an 8 year relationship, the outro line "I always thought that'd we'd be together forever" is raw and close to the bone, paving the way for an expressive but understated guitar solo that sees out the track. -Holly Mullineaux
